Install PracticeRunner for Quicker Access

Add PracticeRunner to your phone, tablet, or computer and open it from your home screen, Dock, or taskbar.

You can add PracticeRunner to a phone, tablet, or computer and open it from the same place as your other applications. This provides quicker access, keeps PracticeRunner out of a crowded row of browser tabs, and makes it easier to leave open during the workday.

Start by signing in to PracticeRunner in one of the supported browsers below. Installation options and menu labels can vary with the browser and operating-system version.

iPhone or iPad

Use Safari for the most consistent installation option.

  1. Open PracticeRunner in Safari and sign in.
  2. Select the Share button.
  3. Select Add to Home Screen. You may need to scroll down or choose More to find it.
  4. Turn on Open as Web App if Safari shows that option, then select Add.

PracticeRunner will appear on your Home Screen. Select its icon when you want to open it.

Android phone or tablet

Use Chrome on Android.

  1. Open PracticeRunner in Chrome and sign in.
  2. Open the three-dot menu.
  3. Select Add to home screen, then select Install if Chrome offers it. Depending on your version of Chrome, the menu may show Install app instead.
  4. Confirm the name and installation.

You can then open PracticeRunner from your Home Screen or application list.

Mac

Safari

On macOS Sonoma 14 or later:

  1. Open PracticeRunner in Safari and sign in.
  2. From the menu bar, choose File → Add to Dock.
  3. Confirm the name, then select Add.

Chrome

  1. Open PracticeRunner in Chrome and sign in.
  2. Select the install icon at the right side of the address bar. If it is not visible, open the three-dot menu and look under Cast, save, and share for Install PracticeRunner.
  3. Select Install.

Open PracticeRunner from the Dock, Launchpad, or Applications folder after installation.

Windows

Microsoft Edge

  1. Open PracticeRunner in Edge and sign in.
  2. Select the three-dot menu, then Apps → Install PracticeRunner. Edge may also show an install icon in the address bar.
  3. Select Install.
  4. Choose whether to pin PracticeRunner to the taskbar or Start menu when Edge offers those options.

Chrome

  1. Open PracticeRunner in Chrome and sign in.
  2. Select the install icon at the right side of the address bar. If it is not visible, open the three-dot menu and look under Cast, save, and share for Install PracticeRunner.
  3. Select Install.

You can open PracticeRunner from the Start menu and pin it to the taskbar for quicker access.

If you do not see an installation option

  • Confirm that you opened app.practicerunner.com, not the public marketing site or Help Center.
  • Update the browser and operating system, then reopen PracticeRunner.
  • On iPhone and iPad, use Safari. On Android, use Chrome. On a computer, try a current version of Safari, Chrome, or Edge as described above.
  • Browser-managed or organization-managed devices may hide installation options. Ask the person who manages the device if you cannot find the option.

Installing PracticeRunner changes how you launch it. It does not turn PracticeRunner into a native iOS, Android, macOS, or Windows application, and it does not add offline access. An internet connection is still required to use PracticeRunner.
